For this month's print, I decided to revisit my one and only trip to Montreal back in January 2023. I shared one other image from this trip a couple years ago, and it's not a group of images I revisit often, due to some negative memories I have of that trip. 

Regardless, the old section of the city is a delight and a treat and you should go if you ever get the chance. This was taken atop the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel (Our Lady of Good Help), one of the oldest churches in the city, and another one built atop the ruins of a previous church.

Just something serene about it, this statue of an angel overlooking the St. Lawrence River on a gray, cold winter's day. I could use some serenity. Hope you enjoy this one, and let me know what you think. <3 

My dear Dani and I continue what has become our nearly yearly tradition going back to 2012, and that's doing a photo shoot together. Last September was the first shoot in nearly three years, and this one was for a new Pieces Of work (which is in the Pieces Of gallery, btw). 

And as always, when I do a shoot expressly for the purpose of a future Pieces Of, there's always a group of shots that make for great still images of their own. With that in mind, here's some of my favorites from it, including the black and white versions of them. Finally, the obligatory NSFW (warning: nudity) applies.  

I've lost track the number of times I've done an intro blog post over the past two decades as I keep moving from place to place for one reason or another. 

So, once again, welcome! And hopefully this will be something a bit more permanent (he says, hopeful for the billionth time), something less rooted to the cesspool that is social media, a single solitary hub where you can find everything I'm currently up to, with nice convenient buttons that link to my various interests: photography, video gaming, streaming, etc, etc. My goal, in time, is to unite all of it here under one main URL, but for now, all the important stuff is, at the very least, accessible and reachable right from here. 

This is where I hope to be catching you all up on the goings-on in my life, whether it's on the art front, gaming front, personal ramblings, feelings, or other assorted random brain droppings. Be sure to check this space regularly as I slowly bring more of my online life here and away from places like Facebook. During this transition, you can find me on Bluesky for my day-to-day quick thoughts. The layout of the site may (and probably will) change as I tweak stuff around.
